The name of our hotel refers to a well-known inhabitant of Delft, the famous painter Johannes Vermeer. He lived in Delft in the seventeenth century at the Markt. A lot has changed, but Delft has still preserved its picturesque character. You will discover this yourself!

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Delft; only short walks to the major sites (New and Old Churches, Royal Delft factory, TU Delft, East Gate, Mill, etc, etc), restaurants, supermarket, and shopping. Very peaceful stay. So pleasant. Good value. I would stay here again.

We loved the breakfast which was delicious and served in a beautiful light room overlooking the canal. Staff were really friendly and helpful and kind to the kids. Our room looked out on a pretty, sunny terrace where the kids liked to play.

From the moment we arrived we had a lovely time. The staff were always there to help and inform. The room was lovely, with a view of the new church tower. The breakfast was great, good choice of nice things (not the same every day) and great coffee. The restaurant opened out onto a canal. The hotel was in a central part of town, not far from any of the sightseeing but nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again. The wifi was fully functional. There was a good bar too.

Loved the warm greeting from front desk and great local restaurant suggestions. They grabbed a map to orient us and show us other spots on map, and made suggestions for other things we might like to do. The cafe is charming and the breakfast is a nice spread. Delft is a really great little city and this was the perfect place to stay.

Great location, staff very friendly and helpful, no issues with invoicing and special requests. Second-floor room faced the Nieuwe Kerk, beautiful view.
